Time Out For Women!!

Yes! I finally got a weekend with the girls were I was rejuvenated in so many ways. However, sleep was still not one of them. :(

But then again, who needs sleep when you are filled with "Sweet Assurance!" This was the theme of this year's conference. I of course went and left my little notebook that I had taken with me at school in my school bag so all my good quotes will be left out of this selection. Poops, I know.

First off, I will need to give thanks to all the girls that put up with me over the weekend. Oh all right, you can thank me since you all gave me more drama than I know what to do with. (Hee Hee) No really, I am so grateful for the women that allowed me to tag along. Each and everyone of you taught me something and renewed my faith in good friendships and compassion. Thank you Anne, Shayla, Dixie, Kim, Suzanne, Amy, & Sheryl. Your love and support is more needed and appreciated than you know.
Now, for what I learned! I honestly think that the words of the music and the pictures that were displayed, taught me more than anything this time. There is just something to learning that way. Where the images and the music touch what is really needed inside of you. The messages that my Heavenly Father is around me all the time, cheering me on, and loves me even when I mess up royally was so profound.

The real touching point was listening to Mark Mabry and his story of finding out who he really was. I so can relate to this. Not that I have ever been an absolutely bad person, but many of the things that I did when I was younger did not reflect the true person that I know now I am to be. I hope you can take a look at YouTube and type in "Reflections of Christ." It is truly inspiring.
