Dalton had his first Rain Gutter Gala and beamed as he won a few races. He did his whole boat by himself from the painting and all. I switched him to the church group this year and boy was it a different atmosphere than last year's Pine Wood Derby. Last year, the cars were all done by the dads and they came out for blood. This experience was so calm and the boys just had fun.
He is growing up so fast. I look at him and I just pray that I can raise him to be the man that I know he has the potential to be. What an awe inspiring thing to realize the grandness of how we are in charge of these little spirits. Yes, prayer is a part of my everyday life. Lord knows I need it.
