We lost a great on March 2.Drew's grandfather, the kids, "Great Grandpa Joe" died in Winnemucca at the age of 92 in the home where he grew up in. He was the all typical American Basco: bull headed and all about family.
Drew was able to visit with him a week before he passed. I am glad that he was able to go. Even better is that Drew was able to spend a whole weekend with Grandpa a year ago and video taped him telling stories about his life. He was married to Great Grandma Gert for 63 years. Amazing!
What an example of hard work he left for his two sons and daughter and grand kids. He was an amazing man that had insight that the family adored.
