What a Blessing!

We blessed Anthon on June 6th here in Elko. It was so special having Papa Joe, Mom, Rene', John, and my two nieces Haley and RayAnn come from Fallon. It was also nice having my friend's hubbies stand in the circle to help bless this special little boy who has come to our family.

There was a microphone mishap so we could not really hear what was said. I am hoping that some of the men that were right there can remember and give me some words that I can write down in Anthon's baby book. I know it said something about being an example or helping with his brother and sisters. Courtney also said that the blessing spoke of how the gospel will always be a big part of Anthon's life.

As I watched these men lay their hands on Anthon's head, I could not help but think of what my son may become. I hope that he can take something away from each of those men.

What power all of these men have, not in the sense of ruling the world, but captivating it. I pray that my son will grow to captivate, to use his talents in a way that will help inspire himself and many others.
