What I am trying to say is we had a very busy month with birthdays galore! Three just in our family of 6! Drew and I started the festivities with Drew turning 37 and me 34 on the 2nd of May. On Xandry's promptings we decided to have a birthday potluck dinner where we were joined by friends who brought the side dishes and us the meat. Drew cooked up some yummy lomo and tri-tip. Can you say Y-U-M-M-Y?! We ended up with about 7 families. A good time was had watching the Hritz kids dance and the Welch and Nisbet kids sing. My family watched as usual since we do not have a talented bone in our bodies. Thanks again for all that came and celebrated!
The very next day was Xandry's turn. She turned 7. Boy do I feel old! It seems like just yesterday I was in the hospital screaming bloody murder and scaring our good friends the Petersons to death. I still feel bad about that Missy! Any who, back to the story. . . Xandry celebrated the following weekend with a bowling party in which she invited more people than usual. It was Mother's Day weekend and I didn't think all would come. Was I ever wrong!! Good thing I only do parties every other year. (Thanks to Raegan and Suzanne's idea.)
Happy B-day to my sister Megan which was on the 17th and soon to my momma on the 24th. We will head to Fallon for mom's because her gift includes a trip to the temple in Reno before her first chemo appointment on the 26th. Keep her in your prayers that she doesn't get too sick with the procedure.
Happy b-day to all you other Tauruses!
