We Love Our Missionaries

People come in and out of our lives leaving little footprints on our hearts. We have been blessed with two such individuals who have given their time and lives for 2 years to serve the Lord and spread His message about love, hope, the meaning of this life, and a way back to Him. These two individuals are Elder Wilson and Elder Steel. What amazing men they both are!

In having them over for dinner I had mentioned how I wanted a tree to be painted in my hallway that had a large knot in it that had the carvings of Drew's and my initials. I wanted the tree to be bushy with green and yellow leaves in it. I expressed how I purchased a wall sticker with my own saying, "A legacy of love . . ." In the tree I wanted to place pictures of all the "greats" that have gone on before us; our great grandparents.

Elder Wilson who has to be one of the most talented men I have ever met said that he would do it for me. This man can use anything and create a magnificent piece of art. It is the same when he sits at a piano. You should have heard his Christmas melody he just played tonight. All on a whim!

Sure enough, he and Elder Steel came to my home for a bit each day and set my dream to reality. I love my tree and am forever touched by their willingness to help me. I will never paint over it and am so filled with gratitude for their love.
