He's 9!

Oh my goodness, I have a 9 year old!

I still can't believe that it has already been 9 years since I gave birth to my first child, Dalton Joseph. Who would have thought that I would have lived through it?! No joke. I still remember leaving Washoe Medical on a cold December 5th afternoon and the nurses saying, "Oh hunny, this one doesn't sleep." Were they ever right! It has still been a world wind of going with my little guy, but oh how I wouldn't change it.

Dalton is an amazing kid. He sees things very much in black and white. He doesn't seem to understand that there are different rules for different things. Such is the case in seeing why the punishment for him is different then his two year old sister. He still gets stuck on incidents and can't seem to let them go. However, he is the first out of my kiddos that will remember to get a treat for his sisters, cry when one of them are hurt, and has a genuine sense of love for all. He amazes me and I feel grateful that I have been entrusted in his upbringing. Now let's hope I don't mess him up more. Hee Hee :)
