Time Out for Women!

What a wonderful time was had refilling my soul with a great purpose to my life. I have gone on quite the soul search this year and broadened it with a trip with seven other wonderful women to Logan, UT where we attended Time Out for Women. Not only were we filled spiritually by attending a session of the Logan temple, but we were fed well in the belly with laughter and food!

Some things that were instilled on my heart was my purpose here on this Earth. I was reminded that we are only in this "life" because of the Lord. He isn't the Lord of gaps, but the Lord that wants to fill in our gaps with love, support, knowledge, and a way to return to our Father in Heaven.

Forgiveness was a big portion of the seminar. Forgiveness of ourselves and of others. A great point that was given was this: When you have contention/issues with others and find it hard to forgive, then think in terms of Christ saying, "Then forgive me. For I am the one who has taken upon Me his sin." That got me! When we chose to hold that bitter, soul sucking, vindictive behavior of hate we are choosing to betray our elder brother Jesus Christ and all that he truly did for us on that cross. We are neglecting to really know the power and pain that He took upon his name for us. It humbled me.

We ended the trip with a grand evening of Mamma Mia!! "Oh My, My, I just can't let you go!!" That has become one of my all time favorite movies ever. We rocked out to the sound track all the way home. Sad to say, it is still stuck in my head today.
