Xandry has taken up calling Drew, "The Fireman" while my sister Linda was reminded of this song regarding Drew. He has been running all over town, but let's pray not putting out old flames!
Drew finished his first week at the department and LOVES it! He hasn't complained yet. He loves the early morning make 'em sweat workouts, all the guys, and hasn't looked back at the tile place, not even once. He is in job heaven!
His first call is quite the funny story. It was to help an obese women who had fallen off the crapper. There was crap everywhere and they had to roll her on a tarp and lift her to her chair. You read it right! Kind of funny huh? But also very sad.
The kids are having a hay day with dad's new job. They love his clothes and can't wait to get on that firetruck!
