The end of August and the beginning of September will mean quite the changes in the de Arrieta household. Dad was just hired on with the Elko City Fire Department as a paid fireman! He will start at the beginning of September. This new change of jobs has been in the works since May. Drew has passed every requirement including a written examination (only 12 out of 93 applicants passed), the physical agility test, council interview, and the chief's interview. He is like a little kid in a candy store with a grin a mile long. The Dimples are BIG and smiling! He told Quality Tile that he will be leaving last Wednesday and all went well.
As for mom, well . . . I will be going through the Bountiful Temple Saturday, August 30th for my endowments. I am hoping for all the friends that would like to be there . . . well to be there! I will let you know of the time.
