A Basco's Happy 4th of July!

What a relaxing 4th! With an initial plan to top last year's 4th with an even grander BBQ celebration, we actually nixed the idea and kept it very quiet. Mike, B, and little Jimmy Mac came from Reno to celebrate in a good ol' Basco easy going way. We had a day of reading magazines, swimming in the pool, playing washer board, small BBQ, and a lazy watch of the fire works from our back yard. The kiddos had fun playing with colored smoke bombs and lighting sparklers. On Saturday morning B and I went down to the Basque house where we walked the 5K. We looked like HOT Momma's in our matching hats, shirts, pants, and big-hooped earrings. We didn't end up last. YEAH! We ended the evening at the ranch and had a good time with Vera and Dennis. Bridget was on a mission to save the cow. She named it Donna so that it was part of the family now. All in all it was a great weekend and we were just glad to spend it together
